Kavindra, starting as a junior accountant, now holds the position of Client Manager, assisting business clients with tax planning, growth strategies, and compliance. He brings a proactive approach to his role, providing advisory, audit, and tax expertise to clients in various industries. Kavindra’s passion for technology in finance has been well-received by clients.
With impressive qualifications and memberships, Kavindra showcases his expertise and commitment in accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) from Monash University and completed a Graduate Diploma with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). As a Registered Tax Agent, he handles tax matters and is a Fellow of The Tax Institute. Kavindra is also a Certified Xero Advisor, demonstrating his proficiency in guiding clients with Xero accounting software.
Beyond his client-focused responsibilities, Kavindra acts as a mentor, sharing his taxation knowledge with junior staff. He strongly advocates for fairness and equality and strives for effective financial outcomes guided by ethics and legal obligations.
Outside of work, Kavindra treasures time with family, enjoying outdoor activities and walks with his dog. He finds entertainment in dining out, going to the cinema, and attending music concerts. Active in Pre-School and Primary School committees, he is an avid cricket follower and looks forward to Geelong’s next AFL premiership. Playing the piano serves as a source of relaxation for Kavindra.
